‘Steeped in American roots but built in Cologne’

Ford designed, but based on a Volkswagen’s MEB platform, this becomes the first collaboration between the firms to deliver a mass-produced EV for the European market. Billed as ‘off-road capable’ and backed by rugged looks, the Explorer EV is doubling down on appealing with those wanderlust vibes.

Expected to arrive under £40,000 and to sit between Ford Kuga and Mustang Mach-E in its line-up, boast charging speeds of 0%-80% in just 25 minutes, offering a range of up to 355 miles dependant on model.
